2. General provisions
- The carrier is the entity indicated in section 1.
- These terms define the rules for providing passenger transport services offered by the carrier.
- Submitting a booking means acceptance of these terms.
- The detailed conditions of a specific service, such as date, time, route, number of passengers, vehicle class and additional services, are set out in the booking confirmation.
§1. Definitions
- Customer — a natural or legal person booking the transport service.
- Passenger — a person using the transport service; the passenger may be different from the customer.
- Transport service: airport and business transfers — paid passenger transport carried out by the carrier at an agreed time and on an agreed route.
- Transport service: weddings and events — paid passenger transport carried out by the carrier within an agreed time window.
- Start of the service — the vehicle pick-up time indicated in the booking or confirmation.
- End of the service — the moment the passenger leaves the vehicle at the destination or the end of the last route segment; for weddings and events, this also includes the expiry of the reserved time stated in the booking confirmation.
- Luggage — items carried by the passenger during the service.
§2. Booking and conclusion of the agreement
- Bookings may be made through the website form, by email or by phone.
- The agreement is concluded when the booking confirmation is sent to the customer by email or when the booking is otherwise clearly accepted by the carrier.
- As a rule, the booking should be placed at least 2 hours before the start of the service; the carrier may accept a later booking if availability allows.
- The customer is required to provide true and up-to-date information, in particular a contact phone number, pick-up and destination locations, date and time, and number of passengers.
§3. Price, settlements and payments
- The service price is indicated in the booking confirmation and covers the transport in line with the agreed route.
- Additional charges, if applicable, may include parking fees, road tolls, extra stops, extended waiting time or route changes requested by the customer, according to individual arrangements.
- Payments may be made by bank transfer, cash, card or BLIK.
- Booking confirmation requires prepayment. Funds must be credited before the service is provided, unless the parties agree otherwise.
- For the weddings and events service, the price includes the reserved time and the estimated distance stated in the booking confirmation. Exceeding the estimated distance by more than 10% results in an extra charge for the excess distance according to the current price list, and exceeding the reserved time by more than 10% results in an extra charge for the next full hour of service. Distance is determined on the basis of the vehicle odometer or navigation system data, and time on the basis of the actual duration of the service.
§4. Waiting time and airport transfer rules
- Pick-up from locations other than the airport: the price includes 15 minutes of waiting time from the scheduled pick-up time. After that, the carrier may charge a waiting fee of PLN 2 per minute or cancel the booking under §6 point 3.
- Airport pick-up: the price includes 30 minutes of waiting time counted from the date and time agreed when ordering the transport service.
- If the flight is delayed, the customer has the right to request a booking change under §5. The carrier may carry out the service after agreeing new conditions or cancel the booking if it cannot perform the service at the changed time. In that case, the carrier refunds the received prepayment reduced by costs incurred in preparing and starting the service, including in particular travel costs such as fuel, tolls and parking, and the cost of the driver or staff time up to the moment of cancellation.
- If the passenger does not appear, the carrier makes at least one phone call attempt to the number provided in the booking.
§5. Booking changes
- Changes to the booking, including time, pick-up location, route, number of passengers or extra stops, are possible only after the carrier confirms availability and may involve an additional charge.
- Changes should be reported by email or by phone.
§6. Booking cancellation
- The customer has the right to cancel or change the booking free of charge no later than 24 hours before the start of the airport or business transfer service, and no later than 7 days before the start of the weddings and events service.
- If the booking is cancelled after those deadlines, the carrier may charge up to 100% of the service value.
- Failure of the passenger to appear at the agreed place and time, combined with unsuccessful contact, is treated as resignation from the service without the right to a refund.
- The carrier may cancel the booking for operational reasons or due to the inability to provide the service, for example a sudden vehicle breakdown. If, after accepting the booking, the carrier determines that it cannot provide the service, it will inform the customer immediately by phone, SMS or email, no later than within 60 minutes of becoming aware of the problem. In that case, the carrier refunds all received payments in full.
§7. Rights and obligations of the carrier
- The carrier undertakes to provide the vehicle at the agreed place and time and to perform the service safely and with due care.
- The carrier may subcontract the service to a provider holding the required authorisations.
- The carrier may replace the vehicle or driver with an equivalent or higher-class alternative if required by operational circumstances.
- The carrier is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as weather conditions, accidents, traffic or road closures.
- The carrier may refuse to perform the service if the behaviour of the passenger or customer threatens safety, in particular in the event of intoxication, impairment or a gross breach of these terms.
§8. Obligations of the customer and passengers
- The customer ensures that passengers are ready to start the service at the place and time indicated in the booking.

- The customer is liable for damage caused by passengers to the vehicle.
§9. Children, child seats and animals
- Transport of children is carried out in accordance with applicable law. The customer must report the need for a child seat or restraint device and provide the child's age or height when placing the booking.
- Transport of animals is possible only after prior agreement. If additional cleaning is required, the carrier may charge a cleaning fee.
§10. Luggage
- The customer has the right to transport luggage that fits within the limit of the selected vehicle class.
- The transport of dangerous, illegal or risk-causing items is prohibited. The carrier may refuse to transport such luggage.
§11. Liability
- The carrier is responsible for proper performance of the service, subject to the limitations resulting from §7 point 4.
- Personal belongings remain under the passenger's care. The carrier is not responsible for items left in the vehicle. The cost of any return or shipment is borne by the passenger.
§12. Complaints
- Complaints concerning the performance of the service may be submitted by email to kontakt@uniwersum-transfer.pl or in writing to the registered address.
- The deadline for filing a complaint is 3 days from the event.
